Ever done the VOR-A into RBG?
A missed one - had one when I was overseas. Controller had me do a missed since another plane declared an emergency. What approach is that high up?![]()
Pretty neat! Looks way different from the Caravans I fly. Is it a texas turbines conversion? Was just talking to our Director of Maintenance this morning and he wants them but the initial investment is large so takes some convincing for management. Like the airplane?
No measly 900 Texas engine on this one.. its equipped with the 950 Garrett conversion from AeroTwin in Anchorage. There some subtle differences between the two kits ie, the Texas kit being designed originally for the jumper/VFR float plane market and the AeroTwin for year round Alaska IFR operations, plus they recertified the airplane for FIKI up to 9096 gross wt. Having a earthquake with finish later.
Accidental discharge with the camera.
