Taken a while ago with the old blackberry. I usually check the statistics page when doing boring cross countries. This is in an Archer no less.

Wow, Kuni has changed a lot since I was there. I knew they moved the runway, but it looks a lot different.
I've never been here before, but one of the other crewmembers was an ex Marine and said it was significantly different. Old runway is still there, just closed... not sure why.

The approach to runway 20 was pretty tight squeeze in order to avoid flying directly over the homes right outside.

Did you notice the 12" high spider fence around the whole base? Not to keep spiders off the base, but to keep them in after we brought them in.

Makes sense. The approach is still very close to everything. Haha no, but since you mentioned it I went and read about it. Very interesting. Black widow problem. Apparently that fence was an $850k project. Yikes. The number that they kill on a regular basis is absolutely insane.

One of my favorite things about instructing is taking a student into actual for their first time. This Saturday it was OVC014 and I finally got to get one of my students in the soup. He did a great job and really enjoyed flying in the clouds. On approach back home we got a nice view, and my student got to view why it is so important to keep your altitude. We were on approach at 3,200 ft and got to see this guy sticking out through the clouds. This tower is just below 2,600MSL.

These are just a few of the larger rides I've seen since I started my new line job at Atlantic.

Guess where this sign is located! I thought the molesting part was funny. Reminded me of the guy with the Raccoons! :)

Winter is finally here! The not so fun part of the job. Sucks when there is no hangar available and only type1. Taken in Franklin PA.
