Huh. APR. That airplane hardly needs it. Hell, it'll damn near out perform the 55 on one engine. During the sim sessions I just did, they had me do a single engine missed out of Rifle and the best I could get was about 5-600fpm.

Ya, the 60 has power to spare. I thought the most difficult maneuver on the check-ride was the 2 engine balked landing. Around 1350 feet MSL tower tells you to go around and maintain 2000 feet. With both engines operating its a handful to capture 2000 and keep it under 200 knots.

Played Don Quixote today. There were lots of windmills and I was battling alone. Sancho Panza had to work other side of the radio. Thank you Rocinante:crazy:

My mighty 150 making the F100 "windsock" at St Maries look good. My father's next door neighbor did the paint job on the jet, he restores antique cars. (At least I'm pretty sure it's an F100, can anyone confirm?)

Photo credit goes to Denver, one of the CFI's who use my plane. He loves taking pictures of his students' adventures and sharing. I'm sharing with his permission.

Yup looks like an F-100. Love that Sharky profile! And a super pic too.

If you can call that fbo sheltair.. more like.. "we dont give a crap about you".

It's JFK, I wouldn't expect any more, or any less from them. At least it beats what it used to be, the facilities are actually nice now!

I parked at Sheltair FRG today went to American Airpower Museum. My second encounter with Sheltair first one was in Plattsburgh NY. Nice folks.

What time were you at FRG?? I was there all morning at Sheltair! If you saw a PC12 blast off it was probably me

Small world Mark. Yes I saw a PC. I was there all day with an RV group you probably saw a line of homebuilts at the terminal by 56th group restaurant. Afternoon we repositioned to Sheltair for Museum.
