Is it a 1970/71 model? (Judging by the panel)...also looks like you're probably blowing some 100LL out the overfill valves on the tips tanks (by the fuel gauges, our 414 would do this as well)

Sorry for the crummy resolution, I didn't feel like walking back and getting out my camera, so I used the cell phone. Taken yesterday in the middle of a long day from Atlanta to Louisville.
you're right about the model and tip tanks, the fuel gauges are over reading the real quantity, one time we let them went down to 50 lbs before AUX and it shutted down (one engine) to check the real reading, another one is the wastegate not doing his work, so we have to always adjust MAN during take off to not overboost

767s have had a history of kicking the APU offline when you turn the packs off prior to engine start (I'd seen it happen in this particular tail number before). Took this in Haiti to remind myself that faulting the APU here would be a bad, bad thing, and to use the alternate method Boeing put out!

Where abouts did you go in NH and Maine? I grew up and learned to fly in that area, but have been in Florida for about 15 years now, I do miss it up there when the weather is nice. I can't show those pictures to my wife, we just lost her yellow Lab (old age) and she'd be all over you for a new one!
We still have 5 dogs, 2 Labs, 1 Jack Russel Terrorist, 1 Blue Healer (my favorite!) and 1 toy Poodle (my daughters). Good on you for the animal rescue work you do. If you ever get down to Sebring, Florida, give me a shout I'll buy you dinner...but don't bring any dogs or my wife will not let you leave!

I went to Manchester, NH and Wiscasset, ME. It's beautiful up there and I usually get a good lesson on how fast weather can go from CAVU to socked in. The majority of my flights are from somewhere in the South to somewhere in the NE. I love flying these missions! It's a good cause and it allows me to get lots of good quality multi time, and it's ALWAYS and adventure. The puppies came from a pregnant dog that was rescued from a shelter. She was slated to be killed and one of the SC organizations we work with pulled her and she had 12 puppies 3 days later! There's a huge problem with overcrowding in the shelters in the South. Many shelters kill up to 300 animals a week and that's just to make room for more.
Sorry to hear about your wife's Lab! That's pretty tough. I'll definitely look you up of I end up your way!
