Incredible shots. What camera settings do you use to capture these? I've tried lightning shots a few times, but can't seem to get it right, even with the shutter speed set to a few seconds.

If it's really dark outside, I've used the bulb setting, hold it open for about 10 seconds give or take, and as soon as the lightning strikes, realease it, only down side is that in a small single piston, the ground lights move with the aircraft and create some interesting light patterns
