Oldies but goodies and likely worth a look.
Not sure at this point how to actually post the pictures instead of the URL from Flickr, but I'll learn!
Only information my father jotted on the back of each photo was "1945" and a crude smiley-face. Most of his service in WWII was in the E.T.O. as a combat engineer, but his discharge papers indicate a short time spent in the Pacific Theater, where these photos were taken.
Both Dad and Mom walk the streets of eternity now, or the dim recesses of memory, so the specific details of time, place and people are lost to the past.
