@TwoTwoLeft, and @SurferLucas. Loving the mountain pictures! That's the kind of flying I want to do!

Basically a VIP transport with radios that can talk to other fast movers.

Didn't know the Marines had any Citations until I shot this guy. Cool looking bird, based in San Diego I'm assuming. Interesting antennas on top, anyone know anything about this plane?
Cool, thanks for the info. I don't blame them. If I made a career out of military flying, I'm sure after a while a less complex transport gig would be nice.Basically a VIP transport with radios that can talk to other fast movers.
AKA, a way for O6's and above to still maintain flight pay. (Don't blame them, it's nice after several years)
It's an extra $840/ month to have a valid military aviation medical. (To keep it simple, and after 14 years of aviation service as an officer) $585 after 22 years.Cool, thanks for the info. Problems in the editing room?
Don't have any Volaris A320 pics at SJC, so I got up at what might as well be dawn for me to shoot it. Got some of the shots from my last post, then Volaris comes over and no click on the camera when I press down. CF card full! Deng it Bobbeh! Quickly deleted a pic as it was passing over and only got one shot off. I was pissed, but I went to edit it and noticed this amazing reflection and cropped the shot despite how soft that made it. You can see the wing and gear out over the runway with the shadow chasing behind. Very cool!

Not easy to catch in the Bay Area. OAK is inaccessible, they only fly a daily flight into SJC when lighting is the worst and right above all the planes so they're back-lit everywhere lol.

Most of their planes are probably like Aeromexicos and Mexicana's and registered in the US to leasing companies or what not. Aeromexico has some planes with Irish "EI" registrations, including "EI-DRE" and "EI-DRO" which make me giggle at work, and Mexicana had some French "F" reg's which included F-OHME I shot a few times. I wonder if those are on-purpose.Always wondered why they rock an "N" instead of an "X," then have a Mexican flag right next to it. Flew them in June, worst experience/operation ever.
