LOL some days were bad but I try to remember the good times. I was in N66859 that day.Oh god, I was just overcome with a flood of terrible memories.
Its about 5 miles west of PAKW. It went in back in the 50's or 60's. It was a military C-47 on the way to Anchorage from Seattle, after not being able to land at Annette Island the crew ran out fuel on the way to Sitka, and dead sticked it on to the river in the dark and lived to tell the tale. There is a Alaska National Guard C-47 by PAGS as well, similar story but the crew didn't make it.Where is that?

that a/c is parked near the Marine air terminal at LGA all the time.
Supposedly that thing has a stripper pole in it.
