at home now. we went to ice bar, got there 5 minutes after they closed. oh well, next time.
 
Today was a great day in the socal basin. Took some friends to AVX who had never flown in a small plane. One of whom has cancer and I could not pass up the opportunity to share flying with her. She finally asked and the day turned out perfect for the flight. Such a full rich day. We, as pilots, are so fortunate to be able to share the gift of flight with others.

There were a ton of whales off the coast near palos verdes this afternon as well, hope you got a chance to see some. I wish I had had a camera!

Those pics were from yesterday and we were looking for whales but didn't see any. There was a crapload of boats in local waters and throughout the channel due to the awesome day we had.
 
Eric! Nice pics. Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the day, sorry I missed you.

How did your passengers get along?

We saw a TON of whales munching down on something today. I watched one come strait out of the water with his big maw open. Probably bad day to be a mackerel. We'll have to get out with your tele lens and get some shots one day.
