What did you use to stitch the panos?
I took a roadtrip up that way with one of my crashpad mates, and I think it was Wednesday...

Did you go to Tulip City? or Tulip Town...whatever the place was called?
Yeah tulip town. That place was packed since it was the end of the season!

Flying for a living... you my friend are doing it right!
I usually only fly a couple days a month. I was abused for April I had to fly 9 days.

Nice scoobie!
Thanks, it's my second one and I am thinking about trading in my Scion for an Impreza.

What did you use to stitch the panos?

AutoStitch. I've been using it for years. It works great and automatically aligns images without any sorting necessary. It's not perfect: it doesn't do planar merging, sometimes the edges aren't perfectly aligned (most notable with trees on the picture edges, ie, branches are doubled up), and as you can see with a couple of mine, it doesn't perfectly blend colors (most notable with the sky). But 1. it's a lot better than anything I've found and is perfectly suitable for my needs, and 2. with a better camera, better pictures, and better post-processing I think the results could be amazing. Oh, and it's free!

Do it! I had an '06 impreza. Loved it, but really wanted a WRX. Traded that in for a mazdaspeed3, but then moved to a dirt road on a hill in VA. Traded the Mazda in for what I should have gotten, an '02 WRX. Great cars!

Alex.

The Dornier 328 is a sexy looking beast.

I've heard the jet is friggin amazing to fly. They basically took the prop off, hung two jets on there and went "ja, I think we are fertig Hans." A buddy of mine flies one in Canada and he said the most difficult maneuver is the two engine missed/go around.

It was like a sim check on every leg!

That's what we say about flying out of Dulles in our planes. Its like a LOFT every leg. I'm going to have a problem when I finally have an interview somewhere better. They're going to get bored of all my stories and we're going to run out of time.

Ya it is. Lol its not too bad, I just wish the damn thing had an FMS like our others.

FMS's are funny. You don't really miss them until you fly with one...and then again without.

My most recent loft was a flight from MEM-ATL without an FMS. I told the instructor that I found it amusing that our checkride was basically to do what everyone had to do about 10-15 years ago on every...single...flight.

Ya I laugh at them until I don't have one.
