Love the airplane, but unfortunately we don't get to do a lot of "flying." I average 1 landing every 13 hours block. Half the time I'm the IRO, talking on the radio or punching buttons on the FMC in cruise. It is a lot of fun to turn all the magic off on a visual and hoss around the big jet though (waiting for Polar or Alchemy to give me crap about that one). She flies so nice.

I believe it. I don't know what it is about big jets, but just the thought of being able to fly one brings out the kid in me. We were in the lineup at BOS yesterday and had a couple FedEx 75s and Md-11 ahead of us. I felt like I was in high school watching jets take off at the airport again. Being able to hear the roar of them on T\O is just awesome. I know I sound like a nerd right now but man I'd love to be able to get into a heavy jet like that.

Nothing scheduled yet. We still have 4 sim sessions to go. They sent us home for the holidays because the sim is going to be down for MX. We go back after the 1st.

I can't speak for the OP but I think that airport is just south of Poughkeepsie, NY. Its not charted on the sectional.

That is an awesome picture! A landing strip in the center of a golf course, fantastic. Is the runway the center of a fairway, there appears to be a trap and green on the left side.

The place is amazing! It's Butter Valley Golf Port, PA. There is a restaurant on the field. I was looking for good grass and they have some.
