daily pic

Just a shot of engine 1 on a Dassult at Jet University which as most know is now gone.

Ran into this guy while walking from my office to the parking lot ... I've actually seen him grow from about a foot, to his present length of 3.5-feet (though the photo makes him look much bigger)

Where the heck do you work, because I don't want to be anywhere near that thing.

Home Shopping Network - we have several small ponds on campus with a few gators in each. They generally haul them away when they get big enough to be a threat. We do have one here that's about 6-feet, though. The photo makes this one seem a lot larger than he is.

The real problem is people who work here feeding them. Otherwise, they pretty much mind their own business. I was about 15-feet away for the shot. Could have gotten closer without any sort of safety risk, but I generally don't like to harass them any more than I did by taking the photo :)

One from this past Saturday. I did a 'Mountain Orientation' flight for a client. This picture picture was taken just north of Buena Vista, CO (KAEJ) while northbound to Leadville, CO.

does it damange the airplanes to sit up like that when weighed down by snow? do they just fall back and damange the nose wheel when it thaws or does it come down slowly?

Even after the snow melts the plane will stay like that. They will have to pull the nose down.

The only NBAA pic I got, too busy, too tired, too hungover...but Bob H. didn't seem to mind and let me bend his ear for a while. This was yesterday.
