I am lucky enough to be able to bring my daughter to work with me in the field. At 5.5 she has probably been to more islands and has more time in boats than 99% of kids her age, and I am just hoping she likes doing it for years to come.

Me personally I was super nervous when my Wife was preggos until i found out it was a boy. Oddly, I felt like if i had a son then I was ready to be a parent and if i had a daughter i wasn't. I dont know where i got this rationale from but it was my thought process until i found out it was a boy, you know what they say: "If you have a boy, you have "peter" to worry about, if you have a girl you have a whole world of "peters" to worry about

Yeah, but that one Peter can make a whole lot more babies in a week than a girl can.
