sounds like a good day to find out if the demostrated crosswind numbers are correct..
In KATL now is33021G28. Its been steady like that all day.

Put down full flaps and see if you can come down straight down like a helicopter...

Now's the perfect chance to go out and fly backwards! Take out a C152 and put it in slow flight...lots of fun!

Man the US has some junkie weather right now - it is 32C here in Melbourne, blue skies, the works!!

3 words, Ho Lee Shiznit!!!!! Um, yeah sure. Let's go flying!

That's all the weather we had last week. Funny thing though, when it gets that windy we still usually fly. Windy days like that were "party days" back at school since nobody would fly, so we'd all go out and do something fun together. Now it's just a normal work day!

The winds really provide a unique challenge for all operations, even on the ground.
