CTI degree, military four years, then ATC

Thank you for the info. I have heard that Airfield ops officer is a competetive spot to get, so I'm not sure I would even get it. ABM sounds interesting.

Don't get me wrong, being an AOF is a good career, just not the best if you're looking for ATC experience.....
 
Exactly, when your controlling rank dosent mean crap. Your position does, Watch Sup, Coordinator, or if your just sitting at a scope. If your a Captain and your told by the staff sargent sup to do something you dont question it. He will (or should) pull you out if you decide to question him or your going down the tubes.
