CSEL on the 28th, CFI on the 29th

Gone West
OK so I am taking my CSEL ride on the 28th immediately followed by the CFI ride the next day. My instructors think I am ready for both, I don't doubt them, but I would rather be grossly over prepared than otherwise. I have a pretty good stack of books in front of me for study the next two weeks. I am wondering if there are any suggestions that I should go through in addition to the ones I already have.

The books I have are:
Airplane Flying Handbook
Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge
Aviation Instructors Handbook
June Bonesteel's Flight Instructor: Practical Test Oral Study Guide
Aviation Weather Services
Aviation Weather
Gleim Flight Instructor Fligth Maneuvers
ASA Commercial Pilot Oral Exam Guide
ASA Flight Instructor Oral Exam Guide
The FAR/AIM of Course
Piper Arrow POH

IMO, that takes two very big things made of brass to do that.

I'd have never thought about doing such a thing. Personally, I'd need a few days break just to chill the nerves a bit.

I'm with Swen on this one...I'd give myself a few days to relax before going for the CFI...The booklist looks okay. I'd add in the PTS and ACs. Tons of good ones out there...I think there was a thread of "good" ACs posted somewhere recently...

I forgot to add the AC's that are listed in the front of the PTS, got those too. I feel OK about doing them back to back, its the exact same maneuvers, the only real difference will be in the Oral exam and having to "teach" my way through the maneuvers. That is what my instructors have been having me do right from the start. They always intended for me to do the rides pretty close to each other to keep all the moves fresh, just turns out the examiners schedule works this way, one right after the other.
