Cross Country Recommendation?

You wont need a crew car if you park near town; taxi heading 120, do not park in front of Three-Zero Cafe instead pass it on your left and continue taxiing till the end of the field; you will see some aircrafts tied down there, find a spot and drop anchor. The town is a couple of minutes walk from there.

:yeahthat:

I like flying to KRAP, got a reel good steakhouse in downtown, dont know if it is there anymore. When I am back at home in Las Vegas i like flying to Bryce Canyon, cant beat flying high up over the mountains and rock climbing in the canyon once you get there. :)

Pretty cool stuff. How's flyin' the DA-20? And, how much were they charging for it per hour? (I'm assuming that you were renting). I'd like to take an airplane for a spin somewhere in Cali when I go there next, and I'm curious to see how much this is going to cost out there...

$80/hr wet. Pretty nice considering they are 2001 planes. The FBO I rent from has two of them, and one of them has dual G430s. I think flying the Diamond is some of the most fun I have had flying. Amazing performance, great visibility, and a nice change flying with a stick!

$80/hr! Damn, that's a pretty good price. I think our DA20s rent for around $120/hr and they are 1997 models with Garmin G530. They are fun planes to fly, I have around 150 hrs. in a DA20.

I need to make up about 4 to 4.5 hours of x-c time for 323. I have the Warrior from 5:30pm and on today. Anyone recommend a cross-country that'll fulfill this time?

I prefer one destination to a place further away than multiple legs. I was thinking South Dakota since I've never been there. I've flown into Duluth, MSP, Anoka, STP, etc... so I want to avoid places I've been to already.

GFK-JMS-DVL :)

our version of that in so cal is RAL-LAS-PHX-RAL, flying from JAcksonville all the way back to so cal we found out the scenery pritty much ends west of Dallas/Arlington/GKY
