CRJ200 Data

Quite heavy for their size, they would work quite well.

I half-jokingly would like to install wifi kit back there, as it is the right number of pounds installed at the right distance from datum.

As a captain who pretty routinely flew with sub 300 hour guys, I can safely say that most (although not all) were along for the ride.
Nobody wants to hear or admit it, but nothing has changed (with respect to the tendency to have to hang on by the static wicks, that is) at 1,500 hours.

It seems like they've really reduced the number of these occurrences. In a year and a half on the plane, I've yet to have a flap problem.

A) you've now set yourself up for a flap fail the next time you are going in to a sub 6000 foot runway.

B) reducing the flap extension speeds below the manufacturer limit speeds help a bunch.

C) there was a software update in 2012 (I think?) that cut down on anomalous skew sensor readings that caused the flap brakes to apply.
