CRJ drivers

I'm on the CR7 this week. I'll snap a few with the phone and the digicam. Think I even brought my USB cable, so I'll see what I can do for ya.

I'll try to get the gear for ya today. We have tight turns, but I should be able to get something for ya.

Here are a few on the "new" laptop. I have hundreds on the old laptop at home.

Sorry, nothing from today. Twas a day from hell. Two more to go this trip; I'll do my best.

Here ya go. These are from my last trip. First 2 are from Charlotte. The last one was yesterday's Gainesville to Charlotte. There are a few more from this month up on my other photo gallery but they really aren't CRJ specific (neither is number 3 here... I just like it) so I didn't upload them here.

Just Curious, How different is the CRJ-50 from the 70 and the 90? From what you said Bog, Mesa has all the pilots together and you can fly all 3 types. I know Comair has the pilot groups seperated.

Is it less different than the 767 and 757?

I might be able to get some pics from work as well.

Not sure what you mean with the Boeing comparison. The type rating is the same for the CRJ-100, -200, -700, and -900. For us, and I believe most other operators of the mix, you'll get typed in the CRJ-2 since it's the least automated. Then, 3 or so days of differences training later, you're just 3 landings away from being legal to fly them all.

The 1/2 are different birds from the 7/9. The 50-seaters are not as automated. Also, without the slats, they don't land the same. So, switching between the 50-seater, 66-seater, and 86-seater in the same day gets interesting. Oh, and the brakes on the 7/9 are touchy!

As for MAG, yes you can fly all three sizes. My line this bid is 10 days of CR7 and 6 days of CR2.

Everybody keeps telling me the breaks are touchy in the 7. I'm SURE I'll forget that the first time I slam the thing into the ground.

You won't forget, you'll just think the captain is on the brakes with you. That's what I thought after my first landing.

Oh yeah. I remember the first time I hit the brakes in the 9, my CA forewarned me that they're touchy. Thought I touched them lightly. Thought.
