Hey guys, I have an interview with ASA in about 20 days and I know they fly the 700 sim but we have a 900 sim on the PCATD at my job, anyone know the V-speeds so I don't fly like an idiot when practicing with it?
Approach speeds on the 700 are anywhere from 125 - 140 knots if memory serves, which is slower than the 200 because of the slats. Sorry don't have the flip cards available or otherwise I could give you precise numbers![]()
You're a dork! 125-140 is *exactly* correct (I know this because I'm sitting in one waiting on flow to ORD, not because I memorize speed cards).
Flap speeds for the 700 and 900 are 215 (flaps 1,8, and 20), 185 (30), and 170 (45). You can drop the gear below 220.
Takeoff speeds vary a LOT. Good luck!

Those are company speeds by the way. Aircraft speeds are 230 for 1, 8 and 20. Gear is anywhere below 250.
V1/2/R are all going to be flap/weight/runway dependent.
Good point--215 is a SKW thing, but I'm pretty sure 220 is actually placarded for Vlo (ext).
Bike-I was in Memphis. ORD was cruddy all day. I wish I had more west coast stuff.

I did the 700 sim, but my training partner actually did the ATR sim. Go figure :laff:
