CommutAir Cares, our non-profit organization, provides emergency financial assistance to employees during extreme hardship – As well as free access to our EAP services. </li></ul><br><br> <br>What the position is<br>The Crew Planner will utilize pairing optimization software to generate pairing scenarios to assist in the forecasting of crew-related costs to include future staffing needs, base analysis, and work rule evaluation. Analyze future schedules to provide feedback to crew resources management and network planning regarding areas of efficiency, safety and operational performance improvements of Pilots and Flight Attendants. Work closely with Crew Resources teams to identify and resolve obstacles related to crew productivity and operational performance <br> <br>Essential functions:<br><ul> <li>Crew Planner coordinates with union groups on current flight schedule to provide safe, dependable, efficient, and legal crew coverage for all flight segments to be flown each month.</li> <li>Responsible for schedule required to ensure that all schedules constructed for CommutAir for crews comply with FAA regulations, collective bargaining agreements and company policies.</li> <li>Coordinates construction of monthly pairings (S3RUS) and schedules (PBS) with union scheduling committees, including flight attendant PBS software.</li> <li>Responsible for coordination with all other departments on administrative support work to support pairing and preferential bidding construction including development of ineligible to bid lists, planned absence tracking, file transfer and loading into applicable software systems and monthly reporting.</li> <li>Coordinate with crew scheduling on administering crew vacation days.</li> <li>Evaluates future schedules and provides feedback to Manager, Crew Planning based on identified crew impact/cost.</li> <li>Responsible for assigning, posting, and awards crew vacancy.</li> <li>Will be required to work weekends, holidays, day, swing, and/or graveyard shifts in accordance with departmental bidding or assignment policies.</li> <li>Will be required to work varying days and hours in accordance with departmental bidding or assignment policies.</li> <li>Research crew records and problem-solve when needed.</li> <li>Represent Sr. Manager, Crew Planning and IOE Scheduling</li> <li>Ad-hoc analysis</li> <li>Maintain current revisions of Crew Planning Manual.</li></ul> <br>
