Came across this surfing craigs list. Have no other info on the company or position.

We are currently searching for an energetic and knowledgeable aviation professional
Aircraft: Beechcraft Baron E55
Location: Andrews, NC
Hours: On-Demand

Minimum Requirements:

Valid, current commercial Multi-engine land and instrument rated Pilots License issued by the FAA.
1500 hours minimum total time
500 hours minimum Current Twin Engine Rating
At Least 25 hours in a Baron E55 model Aircraft.
Current 1st Class Medical
No accidents, incidents or sanctions in the past 5 years
Professional in appearance and mannerisms
Attention to detail

Other Requirements:
Ability to be available 24/7 year round.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to actual flight, qualifications, currency and fitness for flight as well as aircraft compliance
Follow accepted procedures for reporting irregularities during flights, ground checks, and maintaining records
Ability to pass a drug screening test
Able to pass a background check
Clean driving record
Must have High School Diploma or GED

This position may require additional duties as assigned by President of Company

Interesting - this job was posted sometime ago and I spoke with them, but the pay was too low.
I was told they were interviewing another applicant - from the looks of it he may not have been insurable. The times they are requesting are a lot higher.

Personally, I'd be very warey of someone advertising a job opening on craigslist! If you think about it and all the scams being run on craigslist, what legitimate company would use craigslist to find a pilot?

actually quite a few very small outfits do. yes it could be a scam, but I don't believe this is.
 
I had some good conversations with these folks - I can tell you it isn't a scam, but you definitely need to go in with your eyes open.
FWIW this outfit already got burned by a furloughed pilot.

I'm glad to hear that this is apparently a legitimate job posting, but I am not really suprised. Yes, there are a lot of scams on Craigslist, but they are usually relatively easy to spot and this looked pretty legit to me.

Also, I have been very suprised at the legitimate job postings I've come across on craigslist and its one of the places I keep an eye on now even though I'm not currently looking for work. Its not really a great place to find pilot jobs, but I've found a few interesting aviation related opportunites over the past few months.

Just something to keep in mind if you're looking.

Yep. Not great as a primary source, but my and I have found two great jobs through Craigslist (hers went through, mine didn't). It can take a lot of filtering through junk -- scams, real estate garbage, about a million chiropractor receptionist jobs -- but every so once in a while you'll come up with something worth looking at. Shoot, even the FAA put up listings for ATC a couple years back... although the people who applied to those are still waiting to actually start. *cough* Maybe that was one of the scams.
