So I was sitting in the airport this morning at LAS waiting for a flight to LAX on America West/US Air. I was early so I decided to go get a bite to eat at Burger King. I was seated next to 2 USA pilots, a CA and his FO. All of a sudden I heard the FO raise his voice to the CA "Why are you such a •ing pric* Tom?" He then slammed his drink down hard enough to cause the top to spill off and grabbed his stuff and walked away. The CA looked pissed and followed him out. I couldnt believe they made a scene like this. I then went to the bathroom and saw them again in an arguement. So I got on the plane and guess what. The happy couple was my crew for the morning. Would this be something to report or just shrug off? I guess its just like any other job

Wow, reminds me of that drunk pilot video. Thats just crazy, I guess you dont know why they were all pissed off.

Lover's spat? I wouldn't worry about it. We all know how pilots are too much of professionals to let outside things influence what happens in the cockpit.

Lovers spat perhaps! Seriously...that would be my first guess!

Wow BobDDuck and Texpilot all came to the same conclusion as I. Seriously from how you wrote it it sounds as if emotion and feels were connected to that argument. More especially since the CA followed the co-pilot to the restroom. I'm not sure but I just couldn't see Doug doing anything like this with his CA.

Ahah, I guess it makes sense.

Seriously we may never know what the deal was. But one would think that if there was no emotional connection they'd be like wtfe dude "checklist only" in the plane. Or one would call crew scheduling and refuse to fly with the other.

I mean to follow one another into the bathroom and argue some more...hmmm something more then CRM was goin on there!

LMAO "Brokeback Skies" They were outside of the bathrooms which is worse since more people had access to watching the spat.

Thank god it wasn't a Mesa flight or we'd have 10 pages worth of RJ bashing on our hands!

No thats flightinfo. They have a thread on there now about skid marks on PHL rwy 26 and everyone is guessing a Mesa pilot did it!!!

I guess so... I just thought I was so clever with that "gay-jacked" term... I ... oh nevermind. Carry on.

Hmmm I think the conversation was gay when Sean over heard it!

LOL, it did seem to be a very passionate verbal fight between them. I dont think it was something flying related or they would have settled that in the cockpit. Thanks to you guys I now think these pilots were having a lovers spat infront of hundreds of passengers. I would like to think that maybe the CA slept with the FOs women or perhaps they were out lastnight trying to pick up girls and CA cockblocked FO. :)
