Cost of getting a flight physical

I would like to get a first class medical before I start flight school, just to make sure I don't spend a ton of money on school, and then come to find out I'm not in condition to fly. What is the approximate cost of getting this? By the way, I'm 23 and have no insurance.

I payed $100 for the exam.

I'm taking mine on the 26th, they told me that It's going to just be $60 for a Class 1

I paid $70 for my first class one and $60 for my last one. It depends on the area and what the AME charges. I've seen them as high as $110. Insurance doesn't factor in since most insurance companies don't cover it.

$75.00 for a First Class, + $50.00 for an EKG (if req'd).
