Contract Pilot Pay

I'm looking at adding additional contract pilots for a C-421 and possibly a Cessna Caravan. What are typical contract PIC and SIC pay scales in the industry? Pilots must have ATP and at least 500 hours multi-engine time.
Any thoughts. I tend to pay my pilots as professionals and expect them to act as professionals.
 
Wow! Cant believe you guys are still trying to get that 421. One question, would this pay scale factor in the students contribution or would these flights actually be conducted without commercial students onboard such as a legitimate 135 operation?
 
It depends on where in the states you are. But to keep the industry decent and improving, for the PIC $500/day and no less than $350/day for SIC.
