Continental 1803 video

If you go to the director's page you can watch the video about the pilot in 1803 becoming a captain. I watched that video (it's actually 3 videos) and I fell in love with them.

The End of the Innocence video was superb! I truly teared up as a watched the journey of this individual as he elevated himself to the position of Captain. Even as a first officer of a big jet, he had a wealth of flying experience that truly he was proud to have accomplished.

Kudos to a great guy; more kudos to a great pilot!

I was excited because there wasn't one U2 song in it like every other homemade flying video out there, then I watched his other videos, and promptly closed them.

no kidding. the last thing i want is bus driver dave telling me about the wind direction and velocity at 530 in the morning. i have other things to worry about like sleep.

The first three videos were awesome! Congratulations to John! Continental is a great airline, in my opinion, and I hope to fly for them someday.

Thanks for posting that! Definitely hit the spot, as I remember looking out the window when I was 5 or 6 going into Newark to visit my relatives...where it all started almost.

ya the U2 stuff gets old quick. Was he sanitizing the cockpit at the beginning of the video?

You are right, seems like a very wise decision. Is that common practice when switching aircraft or beggining the day?
