Container sucked up by Boeing 787 engine

Not that I could see. This isn't the first or the last time something like this will happen though. Makes you wonder why the container was there in the first place. Definitely not domestic US.

That's a plus. Kinda refreshing to see a mishap with a 787 that wasn't because it was on fire.
 
Costly mistake. That's how most aviation rules and procedures are established.

It'd be a good video show to ground ops people that don't understand why we're so anal about having anything 'inside the red lines' on taxi-in.
 
That was a stupid place to leave that. Rampers are ballsy with their equipment. I get that they're pretty space-limited, but they also seem to drive fast and furious within inches of the airplane. I'm assuming it's just a matter of when somebody dings one of my birds. I'm just amazed it hasn't happened already.
