Contact Info Question

I was wondering if JC could help me out here. I want to do a tour/visitation of American Airlines IOC. Can someone point me in the right direction to whom I should contact? Are there options to do more than just a tour, but actually sit and talk to the dispatchers, supervisors, etc?

I have tried looking online but I wasn't sure if I was making much progress. Thanks again guys!

I have one friend at AA dispatch - I will try asking him when I get a chance. Not aware of anyone on here that works for AA dispatch but I could be mistaken.

Hey Andy, Good luck with that...There are a zillion AA dxers on linkdin. You could "upgrade" your LinkedIn acct to "Sausage link" and then you can email anyone at LinkedIn internally.

But for what it's worth, I was just at the AA training center flying sims and I asked everyone if I could visit the SOC and they were like..."uh ...uh.. I dont think so". It was like some sort of taboo. It was like I was asking them to show me the secret UFO's they been hidin'. Nobody wanted to even call down there. I mean I walked right by the doors! I even tried bumping into one of the SOC guys in the cafeteria.
Im sure anyone that has been in there will tell you that the culture over there is more like the CIA...and I dont mean the culinary institute. They run at a pretty high level. I was lucky to be there at all.
Great place tho, if you get in. And Manniax is right...I have yet to see/read/hear from any AA dispatch staff on this forum. ( I think Flagship_dxer works for Eagle).

I work for AA dispatch. It really isnt that top secret. Maybe in the past it was but it is very easy to get into both Eagle and AA dispatch. People come and bring friends and relatives all the time. It may not happen every day but you dont need any permission if you know someone. Nobody checks ID badges or anything.

It may not be a smart thing to bring in a total stranger but if you know someone there is no issue with getting into to see AA dispatch.

Well there you have it. Thanks Flagship. I didn't mean to call you out.
While I was there, the pilots (and one ex-AA dispatcher) told me that I would need at least a weeks notice and that my request would have to be run up the ladder all the way to CINCOM and HVAC... So I politely quit asking.
Maybe next time.
