Congress Said To Mull Age 65 Extension to Part 91K/135

It's still not an M.D. And you still have to really wonder about them, the whole DO thing was built and pseudoscience and male bovine manure, though they've largely stopped most of that.

So yeah, anyway... the whole point was that a healthy diet and regular exercise, can greatly assist with cognition/motor skills in ones later years.

I've known a couple of very sharp DOs. They would have succeeded in the MD world but for the jacked application process.

As bad as the MD/DO application system is, the process for DVM is 10x worse, and the job pays far less and costs more.

Other professional programs are different. STEM Grad school programs are all about who you know, or more importantly, who your advisor knows. If you have what they're looking for, the requirements magically disappear and random money falls from the sky.

Law and MBA programs seem to be all about the numbers. You ring the bell, you stroke the check, and you get the slot.

I can’t imagine flying professionally (except for maybe part time CFI) after 65. To each their own I guess.
You're young and having fun, add 30 years and get back to how many life changes you encounter.
( At 35, I would've bet $ 1 million I would die from smoking) Nope!!

My mom turns 69 in May. She's extreme sharp. She's vegan and regularly exercises, walking three to five miles a morning. She did however say that she's just starting to forget small things. Like walking into a room, and forgetting why she went in there. But her doctor, a naturopath prescribed meds to help her cognitive function. She says that she has now more energy, a clearer mind and a sharper memory. Diet and exercise greatly matter, related to cognitive function. More especially as we age.
Sounds like your Mom has 'got it', but at 64 I trick myself to help cope.
Can't find something, it may evade you for days- solution? Start looking for something else, problem solved

Age 67, or 75 should be expected in todays climate. No one should be surprised.

TO be fair we haven't had that many people keeling over in the cockpit! And a few of the older guys I flew with are all pretty damn good still.
