I am working on it.....it's a "generally accepted truth" but triing to track down black and white documentation is difficult. They surely wouldn't be stupid enough to itemize it on their yearly report would they????

FO rides are "Train to Proficiency" but there is usually a limit of 2 TTP items - ie you can't screw up every single manuever and expect them to TTP you for a 'pass'.

I have heard horror stories, where it literally sounds that unless you crash you pass - one guy passed, even after taking off without clearance!!!
Well I made it back to detroit at 4am this morning after 11 hours on the road. My class was 10 for 10 on the checkrides... 9 for 10 on the first try. Best class in quite a while apparently.
I start IOE in the morning with an Omaha turnaround and then a Roanoke turnaround.. home in dtw at 830. Feels dang good! Can't wait to sit left seat for the first time tommorrow.
I wonder how they are going to do without the gulfstream kickbacks anymore... hehe.

Don't get too used to DTW - EVERY single trip I fly is a MEM trip - I haven't flown out of DTW since I finished OE! And what's up with the TDY vacancy for DTW Captains?? The only reason we're short is because we're covering MEM.
sitting home reserve on friday...And Jason as you said... on saturday im deadheading down to memphis and flying a trip..end up in MSP on sunday and deadhead back to detroit.. then a detroit trip on mon and tues. Looking forward to my first trip as a captain though... will be keeping that release.
