Concorde will be retired

just saw on Fox news that the Concorde is being retired at the end of the year...incredible airplane. I flew on it when I was 12 yrs old. It always turned some heads no matter how old it was.

So now when we are old and without teeth, we can say to little Billy..
" In My day it only took 3 hours to go from NY to London"

What a shame we are taking a step back.

The Frogs still have theirs. I saw one in JFK not long ago.

It is a sad day however, especially nothing on the horizon can equal it. Of course, the flip side is that if it made money, it would still be flying.

Air France will stop scheduled service in May and retire in Oct.

Yeah, from what I first heard, I thought it was just BA, but apparently Air France is retiring theirs also.
