I have searched the forums, but can not come up with this answer. Is a complex aircraft required for a CFI-I add on since complex was used for the CFI initial? It will be with the same examiner.
It doesn't matter if you use a different examiner or not. As long as you have your CFI-A you have demonstrated competency in a complex aircraft and don't need a complex for the CFII. Keep digging into those FARs and your CFII PTS.
