If there is an “new opportunity flying” then why advertise for your own pilots to go start over elsewhere for another regional?




And no matter what your feelings on any particular regional or pilot group, the sad end result and fact remains that management wins every time they are able to “rate reset” regional pilots.
 
Bummer for all the good pilots and hard working folks at compass.
We’re all in the same industry and it’s sad to see anyone go through hard times, no matter what company they are at.
 
I’m not fully up on Compass. With the loss of the Delta flying, what do they have left? How many planes for whom?
 
I’m starting to think they should have watched “Up in the Air”, paying special attention to George Clooney’s role before writing ANY memos. There is a more nominal method of handling these things.

Yes, but you get to go from an ok wage back to absolute crap at the bottom of the list.

SKW is apparently offering the chance to come in at the same pay year as you were on at the previous company. Bottom of the seniority list but very similar pay to what was lost.
