OK. I am new here, but NOT new to the world or life!
It is very discouraging to see a bunch of professionals, or supposed to be "professionals:, engaging in this juvenile chat in a forum.
I played by the rules and read through many of the threads. That"s just me!
Not the most convenient way to obtain information, but I understand that it is important to take your time and do research to find answers to common questions.
HOWEVER, just because everyone is not like me or you, whoever you are, does not justify being short, rude or disrespectful to ANYONE in a open forum.
If you have tried to solve the problem openly in a thread or in a PM with no results, then be professional and just let it rest. That person will figure it out.
Not very impressed at this moment. I certainly don't believe, and more importantly hope, this truly is a not a true representation of the overall culture of this profession.
I commend those who are willing to, and have been, respectful, helpful, patient and show professionalism without being short, rude, or disrespectful.
I understand people get frustrated. However if you get this frustrated in a thread because of a post, how in the world do you function in a high paced and/or stressful environment?
Forums such as this, especially for those who have already adopted this as a career, reflect the ENTIRE profession! Think real closely about that.
I truly hope what I have recently witnessed is "the exception to the rule".
Happy Holidays
