BankAir still does a little bit of flying. I want to say charter stuff. But not nearly as big as they were bank in the check hauling days.

Now that banks have learned that scanners exist, check flying has gone away... It's relegated to a story we can tell Gen Zers about 'back in the day'... It's basically our Vietnam.

THAT was still 1986-1990. When the big EMP comes don't know if scanners or exciter boxes are gonna be 21st Century , anymore...LOLOL

What’s Airnet doing with those 30 (20?) series Lears? I’d love check that box. I flew the 45 and never referred to myself as a Learjet pilot in mixed company!

Best ride ever (in a plane) was that Lear 35 ride out to my Airnet interview. Hot damn, that was something.

It's funny, that was the job I really wanted in '08, but they put me in a pool. Cape Air called and gave me a class date so I took it. About 6 weeks later Airnet was filing chapter 11. You just never know.

it was my dream gig when I was still working on my commercial. My CFII was flying Barons around for them and it sounded like an awesome experience. They were gone by the time I was qualified.
Strange times we live in, but I also wouldn't be terribly upset if I got to do some of the things I missed out on while grinding it out for the dream job.

psh, I'm down for it. Seeing those fdx caravans doing 160kts over the fence in EWR always made me cackle.
