Commuting to LGA from.....

Central New Jersey. Any advice on how I can commute to LGA from Central Jersey? I hear parking at LGA is like $22/day. I'd be leaving my car there for 5 days on a 4 day trip. I'm loosing my money before I ever make it. Why can't this be a little less painful? :(
 
take the train! i think there are buses from jamaica station to lga. get to penn in the city then hop on the lirr to jamaica.
 
Train it is. From Hamilton station to Penn station, and then the NY Airport Bus service to LGA. $23 total. :nana2:
 
anyone think a MSP-LGA commute would be do-able, considering the east coast air traffic and weather?

Why dont you apply to pinnacle, mesaba, or even compass? Even though pinnacle may suck living in base is huge.

Ditto that. I hear guys complaining all the time here, but it's honestly not that bad for me. The major reason is that I live in base.
