Commercial - ASEL

Passed Commercial this morning...pretty easy checkride. Did some eights on pylons (and I think the only reason I passed is because I described them correctly and talked through the maneuver - I suck at them), steep turns, short/soft field, slow flight, stalls, steep spiral, and the 180 degree power off accuracy. Took 1.0 on the hobbs...Was suprised when the checkride was over, as I was about to apply power for a touch & go, the examiner said, "I've seen enough", pulled the power, and told tower we'd be a full stop. I wasn't going to complain :dunno:

So, I guess this makes me officially employable. Should I start posting in the "jobs needed" forum yet

283TT, 220PIC, 17.3 Complex, 13.8 HP ;)

Now I just need to get my CFI training done by next week

It's not usually a good thing for the examiner to say "I've seen enough"

Congrats on the pass, though

Yeah, I was a little unsure at that moment whether I had passed or failed. The guy I did it with has a reputation for not telling people when they fail, and then during the debrief saying, "Everything was good, except...", and pressing the "disapprove" button on IACRA.

Congrats. I passed mine this morning as well. Except mine was 2.4 on the hobbs. I had a 40 mile diversion! Did you do any diversion?
