Colour Blind?

Good Day.

I have a friend that is colour blind. Would that prohibit him from being a commercial pilot if he was to ever get there?

No if he can find a job where he does not have to fly at night. In the US this may include a job as an agricultural spray pilot, a pipeline pilot , etc. Defective color vision excludes one from night flight.
