anyone know of any openings in Colorado for a low time pilot with about 250 TT and 140 ME? any flight instructor openings? anything?

Part 141, gotta love it for that. Then again, Douglas Aviation does this freaky thing where you get your Comm SE and CFI at the same time. Granted it's cheaper to get them separately somewhere else....
 
roughly 250TT. I'm doing the ATP 90 day program and I'm almost done so I'm guessing thats what I will have in a few weeks.

Hey Junior, why aren't you staying with ATP to instruct? We've been hearing here on the boards that ATP is desperate for instructors due to all of the hiring.

Wanna hear something sad? I'm actually going over there tomorrow to look at their planes and check out that whole CFI thing. I got my $2000 from SWA that I could put towards it (which MAY make a dent....), and since I won't be going to PACE in Jan, I might as well try to get my CFI and instruct for a while instead of twiddling my thumbs....

I just think it sucks that there aren't many choices out that way. I'm not hating on them for being pricey - but at least here there are options.

I wonder how the demand is out that way....

Well, Tunica's airport is a GHOST TOWN. OLV, you know about. I'm gonna head out to General DeWitt Spain and Millington this week to check them out. There's a guy down the street (literally) with a grass strip, a J-3 and a (check THIS out!) an RV-8. I know there's another school at DeWitt Spain, but I don't think they have a twin. There's a couple of free lancers here and there, one of which I know has a Stearman.
