Collegiate Aviation Guide - Rip-off!

Smartass
I have just received the Collegiate Aviation Guide, and all I can say is that I am very, very disappointed with this product. First, they should be ashamed by calling this product a "book" because all I see is a magazine, and half the pages, if not more, are ads! The information covered in this book is minimal, information I could find by searching the internet. The fleet that the university uses or at least a brief description would be nice! Last, but definitely not least, this book is a rip off. For $35 it is not what expected, and if I could, I would return it but unfortunately I live across seas and am not in the mood to pay for the shipping.
All in all if you are researching for collegiate aviation don't get this book, instead start a word document, and start making phone calls.

Then again, it is my fault for not researching more before buying it. But I don't know many people who have bought it I had just seen an old thread here on JC and though it would be a good option. Apparently not.

Ha, same thing happened to me. I tried to get a UAA subscription a few years ago when I was trying to figure our where to go to college. Cost me 20$ and all I got was access to the internet site where I could buy the 36$ dollar guide. grr... I think these forums are a better source of information on aviation colleges anyways...
