College degree?

My only advice is to not pursue a degree based on how easy it is. I started out in mechanical engineering but switched to political science in my junior year. I've enjoyed the classes but now that I'm about to graduate and need a job, I realize how worthless my degree is.

Find a compromise between what you enjoy and what is marketable.
 
Poly Sci? You're going to play football, fly the Q400 and become union boss! ;)

I have a degree in Political Science as to a lot of my friends from college. Personally, I'm flying airplanes so it doesn't count (although I did get a couple job offers in D.C. prior to flying)... but the bulk of my friends have jobs in the field and have never had an issue getting a job. A couple are working on campaigns, some are working as lobbyists, some are working as aides in D.C. and state capitals. If you can't find a job with a poli sci degree you're not looking hard enough.

Have to agree with Bumblebee, the degree would only be worthless if you got after they lost their accreditation

Get a degree and making a good living is subjective. What you may consider a great income others may scoff at it. 10 year regional capt pay varies widely by carrier. The range I have seen is about 47-70K. To me 47K for a 10 year Captain anywhere is pathetic.
