Colgan Upgrade Class Schedule

It's possible he's a troll. Seems to know a bit more than the average non colganite would know tho. Who knows. Either way it's BS.

If you are being serious in your screwing of pilots, what will stop you from jumping the line again when Comair striles and they need Scabs to jump into a CRJ CA slot. Note refer to my post about my feelings on scabs.

Scabbing is a personal attack against me, my family and our way of life.

I'll be damned if s/he gets away with it easily.

I have zero sympathy for any scabs. period.

Great now I'm a scab huh, maybe you should look up that definition before you label someone a scab.
A scab is what were all going to be if we take Pinnacle's CRJ Flying.
However, Colgan is posed to do alot of growth over the summer and we WILL BE VERY SHORT ON CAPTAINS, i.e. what this means Colgan will need alot of Captains for the Saab. The wheels are turning alot faster then you all think, we are not a famliy company anymore.
Don't be surprised if were unionized in a few weeks, and don't be surprised if we become catergorized as a major by the DOT in the next year.
I repeat Colgan WILL be needing ALOT of SF34 Captains over the next year, and if you haven't heard anything yet and your number is up, I suggest calling and checking like I did.

Obviously don't post his seniority number. But just wondering if in he really works for Colgan!

All he has said is COMPLETE BS.

I think he works for us. I would love to see his geographic location.

I think so. I tell you what, I just got my w-2 today, and if some dude gets ahead of me in line "because it cost him more to tdy" I'm going to do some bashing. It's a lot cheaper to go around tdy on the colgan dime and collect per diem than it is to suck on a crappy line for more than a year and pay rent/mortgage. I was in HEF 2 days ago and saw the current list, and they are all jun/05 ish hires. There are probably 60 FO's at colgan that meet the upgrade mins. Colgan is advertising for street captains on climbto350 though, and that really chaps my azz. Rocketman, I love that avatar. crack pipe showed it to me once, but i forgot which plane it was!

I was in HEF 2 days ago and saw the current list, and they are all jun/05 ish hires. There are probably 60 FO's at colgan that meet the upgrade mins.

Awwwww you were in HEF? Doin tha Colgan. Or doin da Pinacolata? Did they officially change the name yet?

i haven't seen the official name change memo. I've heard pinacolada, peanucle, and cynical. I'm sure I'll be back in HEF tomorrow since I have the 5 hr sit in IAD after coming back from HPN. I'll go talk to brink and get the real answer and straighten this out real quick. Helps that I'm flying with a check airmen tomorrow! That will make it easier to schmooze on into his office, lol.

I am SOOOOO going to jinx myself in saying this, but it has been a LOOOONG time since I got a good old 'doin da Colgan' type of day (which turns into a two week Odyssey and five hundred miles later on a rental car).

Please call me and let me know what Brink he has to say! If you want to ask him about second year FO pay as well :)!
 
<---- is from the MFD on 251CJ or eLViS if you prefer. It's the only Saab I've been on that actually has the fifth point of the 5 point harness on all the Saabs. It would be nice if the rest had it. It makes the seat belts so much more comfortable and keeps the boys secure. :)

I've got a better picture from 362PX that I ferried from NQA to MSP a couple weeks ago, PM me your email if you want it homey.

I'll be doin the 5 hr sit practically all Feb starting Thursday...

Ya man, it was a last minute late night in early morning leave sort of thing. Plus, I didn't have the NJC phone list with me once I got there so I kidna dropped the ball on that too. Was kinda mad I missed a chance for a potential run-in when I was there. I'll catch you next time Jim!

I also missed a run-in with my Fish when I was in MEM on the way back. Turns out he had driven up there from CBM and was wandering around the mall while I was sitting waiting for scheduling to decide whether to send me back home or do another ferry. Never thought to call him. Such is life.

I've made it a habit to check each plane for that, but I keep forgetting. We see that captain america alot on the United side so next time I'll check it out. I flew 361PX, the new Captain America and I was actually impressed, refurb. cockpit , new seats and interior, and new paint. I actually wasn't embarassed to have pax on it!
 
Do they only have the seniority lists at HEF or is there somewhere on colganaircrew that you can find it? Not that its probably updated anyway on that damn site.
 
It's not posted on the site. They do send it to lead captains periodically. I have a copy the most recent one they sent out, dated 18 Jan, but it seems to be a bit outdated as the folks who were apparently in upgrade training in Dec and Jan are still listed as FOs, unless they all busted which I highly doubt.

361PX does look nice. What did you think flying it though? I found the flight controls feel really odd - extremely light, like I was flying a C172. Made overcontrolling a PITA problem in the bumpy and gusty conditions that day. Apparently it's had quite a few MX problems to since it's come online too. Then again, it was probably sitting on the ramp in Millington for over a year like the other PX birds, so it's to be expected.
 
Can't remember how it flew. Lately, the ones I've been flying the controls are super tight, I kinda perfer looser I suppose.

If they hire street captains over me, I am so gone!

Is this true? Has anyone else seen it? I'm too cheap to pay for 350! ;)

Anyone talked to TB lately about upgrade numbers? I'm curious if FO's numbers are true, I should be about 20 out by april, as there are 40 ahead of me now.
