They have been aware of it when I was in new hire training two years ago.

Congrats on everything going well..Were you assigned a base yet? Any ideas where new hires are getting assigned?
LOL, ok, will do, I'm married anyway. But flirting is healthy. So heres a question, what would you have done to prepare for ground school now that you can reflect upon it? Some say to do nothing and enjoy the calm before the storm and some say read the sf340 manuals available online. Anything importatnt to bring ( lap top)? Are there excercise facilities? Jogging routes? And is there a dress code for class like collar shirts or anything of that nature? Anything helps.....Thanks
Ha ha!!! I have to laugh at this thread!!! No bugs or rats in my room BUT I am SOOOOO sick of the F'n drunk truckers and their comments as I come and go from my room!!!! This one guy who was in the room next door the first week would run outside his room EVERY time I'd come or go and say stuff like "hey baby! You going swimming right now? I'd like to watch you swim!" OMG!!!! I thought I was rid of him but 2 days ago he appears in the room across the way! He asked me yesterday if I want a beer and to spend alittle time with him! Oh BARF!!!!!!!!!!
I am so glad tomorrow is our last day here! Off to Orlando on Saturday and we start sim on Sunday!!!!
Pat, good luck with the rest of the Sabb class and hope to run into ya some time!!!

Hey Sham- who is teaching Saab ground?
Ed Yarid, he's a great guy and instructor as well.
sharing rooms, bed bugs, rats, truckers harassing you. why do you put up with this?
man, I don't know if I should feel stupid or not, but those random 2 second questions would have gotten me pretty hard... I don't know any Oscar winners, I'm not a sports fan or anything either.. I would have known the VP and maybe like 1 or 2 more. I guess that is not a good sign.
What was your answer for the 'why you over other higher time applicants?'
also, what kind weather stuff gets asked? few tough questions you can remember out of there?
Does Colgan allow you to pick your base, and if so how likely is it to get based in NYC?
who cares what they ask, you should cancel the interview cause they make you share rooms.
huh, why should I cancel the interview because they share rooms?
Having to share a room during training is really not a big deal. It helps to have someone to study with and bounce different questions off one another. Hopefully you dont get stuck with an pain in the rear. I can say my roomie was cool and we hit it off great and are now sim partners and still helping one another through sim. Having your own room could potentialy set you up to be a shut in which could hurt your studies. I dont know, just my opinion. Training is not vacation.
