Colgan (again)

I spoke to Chuck Colgan the other day and we are going to be hiring like mad over the next year. They are running four classes in the first four months of 2007 and bringing on close to fifty pilots (in the first two months alone). If anyone has over 100 hours of multi-time and are interested let me know. I will call Mr. Colgan and give a referal if interested.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

MAN, I need to get in gear!

Where am I gonna get a hundred hours of multi time around here?

Seriously the closest place that instructs in twins is DWC in Nashua.

Now if I convince my parents that a Duchess is a worthy investment.......

I am sure they would let you borrow the overnighter in BHB and we can do repos to HEF.

Dear Seggy,

We want to thank the pilots that played a critical role in our hiring process both with referrals and assisting in interviews last year. We anticipate a significant increase in hiring this year. We are now increasing both the size and number of classes.

We have a Saab class that starts Monday the 8th with 11 candidates. Our next classes will be January the 16 for the Saab and a Saab or Beech class on Feb the 5th.

Our pilot interview schedule includes:
. January 11th - LaGuardia
. January 20th - Aeroservice Career Fair in Miami
. January 23 th - ATP Jacksonville
. January 25th - LaGuardia
. January 27th - AirInc Career Fair in Dallas
. January 30th - Houston-Hobby
. February 15th -17th - Women In Aviation Conference in Orlando

Please direct any referrals or offers to assist with interviews to Cathy.

Thanks,
Chuck

Im slowly getting closer...200 TT with 80 of Multi and flying 50-75 hours per month....wont be too much longer

With regionals hiring pilot to fly jets with 50 multi such as Comair I wonder why would people wanna go for colgan to fly most probably 1900's. I hope they will make them lower their min.

Some people could care less about what they are flying. Some want to go for the experiance, or maybe they have a base where they live. Its not all about the jet.

Comair is hiring guys with no other options so that they will cross if there is a strike....Seriously.

Me, I want to go to Colgan. mostly for the BHB base, plus the 1900 is a kick ass airplane. Plus unlike Seggy, I'll actually fit in the darn thing. Honestly the thought of being traped on the Saab is getting me a little worried about them. But I have 2 years to get really worked up.

When are the classes going to start for the -900??? :nana2:

Seggy,

what i want to know is why they are hiring so many. We are short on FO's, but not that short. Colgan runs pretty lean on crews as opposed to other airlines. I'd say on average we have 4 crews per plane. Some other regionals and majors run 7-10 crews per plane. Are they looking to get to the 7-10 crews, or are they really going to be adding some planes? I know attrition is sorta bad right now, but we aren't losing 10 a month. I'd like to believe that some of the expansion rumors are true, but I'm not getting my hopes up. It sure as heck would help upgrade!
