Cmr 5191

I have flown 121 and currently fly fractional, I'm pretty sure you don't have the same stuff the 121 guys do! You more than likely are currently utilizing Jepp's Q-service, am I correct? The 121 operators have Jeppesen publish company specific pages for them that nobody else receives except that operator. These guys are more than likely referring to those pages and you won't find them in any Q-service.

Yes, we use Q-Service. I knew they (121) received company specific pages, but I *thought* most of their stuff was the same as ours (approaches, construction pages, etc.) unless the company had a specific procedure for them only (gate info, approaches, etc).

And, once again, my original post was for Surreal and dealing with Jepps in general: "My point was there are some charts that do have construction noted on them." I wasn't answering specifically who had what on LEX, or any other airport. I left that discussion to the 121 guys/gals.:D

Company pages are blue and 10-7, the yellow ones are normally 10-8s. I don't know where they come from, I just see them in my in box and put them in my binders.

Diagrams are 10-9 for us and construction pages are 10-8's. We have no specific pages for us.

Stone_Cold, I appreciated your comment, I really did.

But I think you also forgot that I said NACO charts in my initial comment. Of which, I know for sure they do not do complimentary reprints of all construction areas on airfield diagrams.

Nevertheless, it still appears that even 121 guys do not get JEPPs to reprint ALL possible construction areas in this country. It just isn't cost effective. They may happen on a scale for certain high density Class B and C airports, but otherwise I wouldn't expect a company to pump money into reprints every time some local municipality decides to do some construction for a few weeks.

You're the one that compared my comment to JEPP charts, which the comment wasn't even directed towards.

If you look, in my first post, I even put a smiley in there. I was just busting your chops, then everybody got all serious about the conversation of Jepps and different types of Jepps. I was merely pointing out that the crew would have been using Jepps. Nothin more, nothing less.:D And, yes, I realize you put the NACO comment in there. I just chose to ignore that!:bandit:;) I was not implying that all airports have construction diagrams, what the crews of 121's have, or anything else. Just pointing out that some plates do have them. I am curious now as to what the criteria is for issuing a yellow plate, as some major construction projects don't have them and other projects smaller in scale do have them...

Sorry if I took it too serious. . .I've slowly (over the past few weeks) grown a bit more defensive than usual. Nothing personal.
