for a FIRST class ticket? your kidding me?!
Which route would you be more comfortable taking? long haul in the Van where you can lie down or short haul in first class sitting up? cuz at those prices, sheesh... the costs are relatively close to each other!
I figured a first class ticket would be well over a grand!
edit: March 16th is when you want to leave? I just noticed that up top.. i remembered it was sometime March, but not the actual date and dagnabit if i don't already have travel plans for those days! Doug just got his March schedule and he'll be working those days...I'd change my travel plans, but it's not just me traveling, so i don't think i can this time around
I would rather fly. The reasoning behind it is that travelling will suck either way. Staying in Ohio I will likely starve and be evicted and at the whims of my family. They have residences in OH but are for all intents and purposes as useless as a fart. While I could lay down in the van I would be in continuous motion for 2 days and change. If i was not nauseated continuously that would be a great option. It would be more pricey if I was trying to do a round trip or if I was choosy on airline. The last 8 flights I have taken have all been on Delta and i think they rock. Their price is like 250 more though.
If you fly, how will you get all your stuff back to Seattle?
I checked delta.com and they have a flight at 7pm (first class) for 564.90.. but it means a stop in cinci first...that's really not to bad either but even with my 20% discount - the continental flight is cheaper!
I don't have much stuff. I knew that when I left my partner that I would be relocating home in a year. All I really have is just clothes, alarm clock, laptop, toiletries and a geriatric cat.
geriatric cat? would the cat be able to handle the flight ok? you know if you take her inside the cabin, you'll have to let the crew know - so they can inform any ppl that have cat allergies!

The cat would be fine in the cabin so long as they would let me take him that way. I think if I had to check him he would check out as he has heart trouble. I am very big on being responsible with my pets and not having them negatively affect others (allergies etc).
Well, I got my income tax back and bought a ticket home. It came to $369.40 first class on AmericaWest flight 747 and 898. I leave out of CMH at 8:15 transfer planes in LAS and arrive in SEA at 2:26AM. If anyone could help defray the cost it would be greatly appreciated. I use paypal and my email is aviatrixathena@yahoo.com Thank you to everyone for your kindness and support.
