Hello fellow aviators. I am hoping someone can give me some insight on this.
I have keratoconus in both eyes.
In glasses, I can see 20/30 in each eye and 20/30 together. There is also some minor ghosting to my vision in my glasses.
In my awesome new contact lenses, I can see 20/20 in each eye and 20/20 together, with no ghosting.
Will I pass a 2nd class medical? I keep reading that pilots wearing contacts are required to have glasses handy. But I can't see 20/20 in my glasses.
Will I pass a 2nd class medical?
Thank you for any insight!
