The DC Pro isn’t quiet enough for a 737 cockpit. Tried them and returned them.

Dear god, how loud is it up there? The 747 is pretty loud, but the Pro X does a decent job in there. I’m sure there are quieter headsets out there, but the ProX is a good compromise between bulk and quiet. Plus the audio quality is excellent. I’m frequently asked why I seem to understand the foreign controllers so well, I assure you it has nothing to do with competence.

The 777 is really quiet. Where I'm at, headsets pretty much universally come off at 18. We have a intercom, but no one ever uses it, even below 18.

I love my Calrity Alofts. Haven't tried the Halo but I'm not moving for the foreseeable future. I usually fly a Hawker 700 and man what a difference that was with and Without 'em. They ought to work wonders on something noisier, say a Hawker 400.
