Here is the updated list of type ratings. CR2/7/9 are all CL65 types (in addition to whatever aircraft has the -2D15 engine).

http://registry.faa.gov/TypeRatings/

CL-600-2B19 (CRJ2)
CL-600-2C10 (CRJ7)
CL-600-2D24 (CRJ9)
CL-600-2D15
All are considered the CL-65 type rating.

This is correct. The 2D15s are slightly derated 2D24s. The aircraft is a CRJ900 with a larger business class cabin (built back in 2005 when no RJs had business class seats) for Air Canada Jazz to get around the scope restriction which limited them to no more than 75 seats.

The CRJ1000 is also a CL65 type but not listed in the FAA registry because no US operator has them (or has plans to get them).

A CL65 type is also good for a Challenger 850.

Not really sure what the point of this thread was though.

The OP post was a continuation of a short thread on type ratings, with a last post from 2006. CL65 was posted there with some older info.

Actually, the CRJ-1000 is the CL-66 type rating and it is listed.

CL-600-2E25 = CL-66

Interesting. When the 1000 was initially designed, one of the big constraints was keeping enough commonality for a common type. I wonder what changed.

Same for the G650, and it ended up a new type also. The "FFA" apparently changed their minds on these things...
