CJC's IAH Q400 flights.

From HM:

Now for IAH – I am excited to announce the theory of Q400’s flying out of IAH will turn into reality on Feb 1.
Our first revenue flight will depart IAH for Tulsa. Tulsa (TUL) will be our first destination. We will also have
a spare Q400 sitting in IAH on Feb 1. With one line of flight and one spare our performance should be stellar.
On Feb 17 we kick in two more lines; Dallas Love field (DAL), Jackson, MS (JAN), and McAllen, TX (MFE).
On March 6, we add two additional lines flying to San Antonio (SAT) and Oklahoma City (OKC). These are
the proposed start-up cities. In April and May will complete the IAH induction. We will have eight lines with
one spare when the induction is completed.

San Antone is a blast down on the riverwalk. Same with Oke City in bricktown. Dallas is Dallas. Jackson is decent. Didn't think much of Tulsa from my two nights there way back when. Know nothing about McAllen.

Check
Dallas-Love, Jackson, McAllen, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Tulsa.
No name a few.

This is all ccorrect.... Except no San Antonio for next month, and only two of these cities are overnights.... But nothing really happens til the second half of the month. And whoever mentioned downtown overnights.... Hahahahahaha yeah right!!! In all honesty I'll talk to our hotel guy but the overnights aren't long.

I thought Colgan doesn't typically do downtown overnights. I'm just basing that on what I see you guys doing in EWR. No downtown YHZ/YYZ/YUL etc. I know the company is cheap, but wasn't sure if it was a time issue (short overnights).

So far the iah overnights aren't incredibly long..... But yeah your right about the long ewr ones. That's something the contract will have to fix.

If it's the same corporate guys picking the hotels as they are at 9E, don't get too worked up (except for SAT, which is pretty decent). Our hotel in DAL isn't in the best part of town (and there's nothing around there), OKC you'll probably be staying in the airport parking lot, TUL is right next to the airport and we finally found a hotel in JAN that doesn't smell like moldy rust with a staff that couldn't care less.

YMMV, but it wouldn't surprise me for Pinnacle Corp to go for the "bulk discount" by putting more crews up in the same overnight hotels.

As for hotel language in the TA.....there's none that I'm aware of, sadly.
